Attention: New Compliance Criteria as of November 15, 2013.
As part of our bi-annual revision process we have made some modifications to the compliance criteria. The changes include general corrections and additions based on changes in the Fairtrade Standards. You can download a detailed overview on the right hand side in section 'Compliance Criteria Changes'. The new version of the Compliance Criteria supersedes all previous.
Compliance Criteria (CC) are established by FLO-CERT to translate FAIRTRADE standard requirements into verifiable control points that are evaluated in the certification process to determine compliance with the FAIRTRADE Standards.
Non-conformity with a Compliance Criteria is considered a non-conformity with the respective standard requirement.
Each Compliance Criteria is linked to a specific timeline indicating when it needs to be fulfilled.
A Major Compliance Criteria reflects key Fairtrade principles (e.g. Child Labour) and non-compliance with a major criterion may lead to suspension of your certificate.

In addition to the above mentioned Compliance Criteria FLO-CERT developed Explanatory Documents.
